Overview
This guide shows how to temporarily pause ChatAgent replies on a specific channel (for example Instagram, WhatsApp, or Messenger).
Steps
- Log in to ChatAgent
- Open Channels (or Integrations) from the left menu
- Select the channel you want to pause
- Find Pause replies (or Disable auto-replies)
- Turn it ON to pause ChatAgent replies
- Send a quick test message to confirm ChatAgent is no longer replying on that channel
To resume replies
- Return to the same channel settings and turn Pause replies OFF
Troubleshooting
- If you don’t see a pause option, confirm you have the right permissions on the workspace/account.
