Overview
WhatsApp message templates let you send pre-approved messages (often used for outbound or structured messaging). This guide shows how to create a template in ChatAgent.
Before you start
- Make sure your WhatsApp channel is connected in ChatAgent
- You have access to edit WhatsApp channel settings
How to create a WhatsApp message template
- Open ChatAgent
- Go to Channels, then WhatsApp
- Click Create a message template
- Fill in the template details:
- Header (optional)
- Body text (in the selected language)
- Add quick reply buttons (optional)
- Click Submit
Troubleshooting
- If the template doesn’t appear or the change doesn’t apply, refresh the page and repeat the steps.
